7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver Temporary

“A1 Jobs are looking to recruit experienced 7.5 Tonne Drivers to work for a Tamworth based company from January 2024”

Job Description

• Safely and efficiently operate a 7.5 Tonne commercial vehicle, to transport goods and materials to designated locations.
• Check load is placed and secured correctly
• Plan routes and follow delivery schedules to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
• Inspect vehicles before and after each trip, reporting any maintenance or repair needs
• Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and deliveries

Qualifications and Criteria

• Valid Category C driver’s license with no more than 6 penalty points
• 1 years Commercial driving experience preferred
• In date Digital Tachograph Card
• Drivers CPC card
• Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and meet delivery deadlines
• Over 25 for insurance purposes
