Dumper Driver Permanent

A1 Jobs have an immediate requirement for a Dumper Driver, for a Glasgow Based site

Ongoing project with immediate starts available

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate dumpers and other plant machinery safely and efficiently.
• Transport soil, aggregates, and other materials to designated locations on site.
• Carry out pre-start checks and basic maintenance of machinery.
• Report any faults, damages, or safety hazards to the site supervisor.
• Assist with general labouring duties when required.
• Follow site-specific safety procedures and comply with legal and company regulations.
• Work collaboratively with other plant operators and ground workers.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and equipment used.
• Ensure the dumper and working area are kept clean and tidy.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Valid CPCS / NPORS Dumper Driver Licence (or equivalent certification).
• Experience operating forward-tipping or articulated dumpers (desirable).
• Good understanding of health and safety in construction.
• Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively.
• Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment checks.
• Physically fit and able to work in outdoor site conditions.
