Responsibilities

• Operate baling machinery safely and efficiently to compress recyclable materials into manageable bales
• Monitor equipment during operation, ensuring optimal performance and troubleshooting minor mechanical issues as they arise
• Load materials into the baler using appropriate lifting techniques and tools, adhering to safety protocols for heavy lifting
• Inspect bales for quality control, ensuring they meet size and safety standards before storage or shipment
• Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment to promote a safe and organized workspace
• Complete all required documentation accurately, including production logs and safety checklists
• Follow all safety guidelines and participate in regular safety training sessions to prevent accidents

Experience

• Mechanical knowledge or experience operating industrial machinery is highly preferred
